"Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God."
The Music Ministry of Parker Bible Church aids in leading congregational singing in corporate worship services.
We aspire to give weekly service opportunities to skilled musicians who have a desire to honor the Lord with their gifts.

Music as worship
"The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul."
J.S. Bach (1685-1750)
At Parker Bible Church, we do not believe that "music" and "worship" are synonyms. Music is organized sound in time and space; worship is the Christian lifestyle. Music is one of the many tools we are given to worship the one true God, and it is a central element, but it is not worship in isolation. The "music" part of our service is not the "worship" part. Every element of the service is worship.
We desire that God would raise up skilled musicians among our church, and that He would bring new musicians our way. We believe God uses music to soften the soil of our hearts to hear His Word, and to allow us to respond to Him in a way that words alone cannot.
